Honda CM400 Motor Cycle
Here's some pics of my 1980 Honda CM400E. It was totally stock when I bought it in 2007 with only 19,000 km on it. I kept it stock until recently when I came across ratbike.org, and was struck with some awesome ideas. I went to work right away: hard-tailed struts made of 7/8' wrenches, cut 60% of the seat off, turned the battery sideways and mounted in the center under the seat, cut out the airbox and put on K&N's, bought a $16 trailer fenderand left it bare to rust, sissy bar made of rebar, and ceased all washing procedures. The front end is still stock, but not for long: I have a rusty old tractor seat waiting to be fabbed on with 6' release valve springs, gonna buff all the chrome off and let it all get rusty, make my own forward controls, install baffled straight pipes, make my own ape handlebars from bare steel pipe and a bender, and am in the market for a very ugly sportster tank.
