GS 250

This is Simone, my survival rat, a 1981 Suzuki GS 250 T.
Home made seat for me and my wife, army style medic bag saddle bags, front brake caliper off a gs400, master cylinder off of some big ol' Kawasaki cruiser in the boneyard, and its even got freshly rebuilt carbs tuned for it's lack of a proper exhaust. Sounds pretty nice, like a bat out of hell's younger brother. Top it all off with some really nice on/off road knobbies, and you got a Mad Max bike that gets a lot more attention at unofficial car shows than any shiny Harley. It's my loyal daily driver, and I don't plan on ever getting rid of it, just swapping up to larger engines as I grow out of the 250.

UPDATE...
Got a bit of an upgrade! I grabbed a junked GS450, and swapped the motor in. Not only did it have a nice upgraded motor, but it had a Vance & Hines 2 into 1 exhaust with it! Couple that with a better made seat, and some aftermarket fender I found to help keep the tool bag off the wheel, and I've got a much better looking bike.
Top that all off with a stenciled emblem of the ''Brotherhood of Steel'' from the Fallout game series, and I think I've got myself a keeper.
