This is my XVS1100 Dragstar. Bought new in 1999, stayed stock colours till 2010, added foot plates, slash cut pipes straight through and rack,
during its early years. including tool roll. inspiration to paint when I saw yam xt 500 in camo colours in AwoL
picky on your web site some where, with various usefall, attachments, so I added, army surpless panniers, water bottle
holders, handy for camp gas, fishing kit and fire tinder in plastic tube on top of handle bars, various small pouches,
camping mallet, attached to down tube near side.
oven racks cable tied to main rack painted matt black, camo green effect,
hand done. catchen green from games work shop, matt black from good old Halfords, patterns hand drawn first with chalk,
then painted, exhausts coated with K-rust treatment, left to bake for a week, a quick rub down 400 grit, painted with games
workshop chaos black, humbrol matt black, has not burnt off yet! wheels matt black hammerrite, rear wheel, matt black and
catchen green, shiny bits coverd in black / green/ paint / black insulating tape where possible.
on going project, it never stops till the next idea.... did I mention the grenades and pistol?
